A message from the President:
I was born in New York City to Haitian immigrant parents and grew up in an undersourced neighborhood where opportunities were scarce and challenges were abundant. My journey from these humble beginnings to where I stand today is a testament to resilience, determination, and the unwavering support of those who came before me.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies from Hunter College, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Long Island University and an MBA at Brooklyn College. My academic journey continued at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I studied Global Studies in Education with a concentration in Learning Design Innovative Technology. These diverse educational experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and tools to make a meaningful impact across various domains.
As an author, social entrepreneur, and activist, my mission is threefold: to fight for equity in education, create sustainable eco-spaces, and develop pathways for economic empowerment in underserved communities. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
Our mission at Haitian DNA is deeply rooted in civic and community engagement; economic empowerment and innovative approaches; advancing quality education and championing sustainability. Together, we have the opportunity to help shape a brighter future for our community both locally in Haiti and across the globe.
